Advances of <scp>sulfide‐type solid‐state</scp> batteries with negative electrodes: Progress and perspectives

All-solid-state battery (ASSB) technology is the focus of considerable interest owing to their safety and fact that high energy density meets requirements emerging applications, such as electric vehicles storage systems (ESSs). In light this, current research on high-energy ASSBs harnesses benefits solid-state by employing anode materials with densities. Owing excellent physical solid electrolytes, it possible build a using negative electrode decreasing amount electrolyte in system. Sulfide-based ionic conductivity low contact resistance recently receiving attention. This review provides summary various for operating under electrochemically reducing conditions from perspective electrochemical safety. The properties sulfide electrolytes used lithium (Li) metal particle-type are presented, well strategies mitigating interfacial failures cells through interlayer design.
